Welcome back Love Birds! We are excited to share our top 4 Intimate Wedding Venues in Maryland.
So why do we consider these locations top 4? Well to start…the photo ops! Because who doesn’t want amazing backdrops on their special day! These locations match perfectly with our ideal couples and we want to share this information in hopes you and your fiancé will utilize one of these amazing venues for your special day.
Additionally, we have photographed weddings in these locations and we just loved the vibes as well as the venue staff! Let’s dive in!
Note these venues are not in any particular order, these are the 4 we absolutely adore though!
Kentlands Mansion
Kentlands Mansion is tucked away in Gaithersburg Maryland surround by neighborhoods and adorable boutique shops. There are rooms upstairs for couples to get ready, party etc before the ceremony. Downstairs has enough space for an indoor ceremony and reception, especially during the winter time. There is a front lawn that can also be utilized as a ceremony or reception space as well as a gazebo to the right of the mansion!
Baltimore Museum of Art
Because who does not want to have their wedding pictures around art?! The Baltimore Museum of Art is obviously in Baltimore and provides such a unique location for your wedding day! You do have the option to use the museum as your backdrop for portraits but be mindful that flash photography is not available due to protecting the artwork.
In the corridor and open space however, there is plenty of space for the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour!
Sagamore Pendry Baltimore
Sagamore Pendry Baltimore is part of the Pendry hotel chain! It sits on the harbor in Baltimore, so you do have the option to have the Harbor in your background WITHOUT all the foot traffic. This space both indoor and outdoors have amazing lighting with so many options for photo ops! The great thing about having your wedding here is you can take the elevator right up to your room at the end of the night! No traveling from location to location here!
Chesapeake Bay Foundation
This hidden setup is in Annapolis Maryland. So yes we have water action again! This is actually an environmental center that can also be used as a Wedding venue. The space is officially called Philip Merrill Environmental Center as the CBF has multiple locations across the east coast. There is both an indoor/outdoor/tented space for your wedding day! This location is not far from local hotels in Annapolis and also has enough space for parking!
