I hope the blog posts we have provided since April have provided lots of useful information as you continue your wedding journey! This next set of series will have a little twist to them. We have partnered with a few friendors (Friend Vendors) and asked them about their contribution to a couple’s wedding journey experience and the importance of each part of their contribution. Each person we have spoken with provides details from their perspective and some thoughtful questions that couples can ask themselves when deciding on this particular vendor. Last post was all about invitation and stationery details. Let’s continue our discussion with Nicole from FINGERS IN INK all things Wedding Paper Goods. Now that we have established all things Wedding Invitations and Stationery, let’s dive into ways to preserve your paper goods as well as services that Nicole provides!
A few options that Nicole mentioned are:
Like most wedding vendors, Nicole also has a process to make sure she is fitting her clients needs. She starts out with a few preliminary questions to understand the level of detail and stage of planning the couple is in.
She then goes into the 3 option approach based on the couple’s views, visions and details. With these 3 options she goes into fonts, color palettes, and methods of printing (flat, raised (thermography), letterpress, embossed, foil) to bring a cohesive experience for couples.
After the invitation suites are finalized and processed, part of her delivery is she also curates a flat lay set up for her couples and sends it off to the couple’s planner and photographer.
Nicole’s most popular paper stock is 220 lb classic ecru cover stock with letterpress printing . Letterpress allows for optional depth of contrast when it comes to color. With this combination, this paper and print method, brings about a clean and textured feel to your invitation suite.
And THAT is all things Wedding Invitations and Stationery! I hope this was helpful for your wedding journey. Feel free to comment or even reach out to Nicole for more information!
Tune in next time as we speak with another vendor!
Nicole Fingers, owner and head stationery stylist of FINGERS IN INK, an invitation and stationery boutique (brick and mortar). Her primary goal is to provide extraordinary and show stopping invitations and stationery for all social and corporate occasions. Invitations are unique details to an event, which Nicole feels people take notice of when done properly. She has embraced her passion for paper, and brought her love for contemporary art in creating each custom invitation and stationery suite.
