I hope the blog posts we have provided since April have provided lots of useful information as you continue your wedding journey! This next set of series will have a little twist to them. We have partnered with a few friendors (Friend Vendors) and asked them about their contribution to a couple’s wedding journey experience and the importance of each part of their contribution. Each person we have spoken with provides details from their perspective and some thoughtful questions that couples can ask themselves when deciding on this particular vendor. Wedding Planner Selection
When selecting your Wedding Planner, here are a few things to consider:
- Make sure that you vibe well. Complimentary vibes, energy and personalities will go a long way through this experience. You are literally building a relationship with a vendor so that they have a better understanding of you, as a couple, in order to execute this BIG DAY successfully. They will want to know your goals, what is important to you, your communication process and more.
- You also want to consider the style and taste of the planner. Does it match your views and goals for your wedding day? Is your vision is Bold and Modern? Or is it Minimalist? Based on your style and taste THAT planner will already have the go to vendor team to execute that day.
- Does the planner you are considering also provide wedding design services? Courtney-Rose DOES provide design in her Full Wedding Planning services but not all do. It’s definitely a question to ask!
Let’s talk about Courtney-Rose’s process
She starts out with getting to know her couples. This is the time when she learns about you two as humans. What you like, don’t like, what are your dreams, goals, favorite foods and favorite travel destinations. From a design perspective she works with you as a couple to understand how you want the wedding day experience to be.
From there, she starts to build out your dream wedding team, facilitates and organizes your communication strategy for your day (invitations, guests, vendors etc), a more intricate design for the day, day of execution and all things in between! She makes sure her team is there for all her couples throughout the whole process.
So what is next for Dantus and Co Events?
Courtney-Rose is full steam ahead with onboarding more full service planning and design clients for 2022 and beyond. She is expanding her associates team to not only provide support for full wedding clients but also provide support for Wedding Management services.
She is focused on and will continue to be known for honoring the unique and inclusive love stories of her couples.
